pcpartpicker would have been easier, but how is $438 "under $300" ?

why not just get a seagate barracuda? its ~60 dollars. The 500gb hard drive is 2.5 inch, and under the standard 7200rpm. Get only one hdd and upgrade your cpu. get 2x2 ram kit, if it is not already like that.
