Intel Xeon E5.2630 or i7-3820?

It depends on what you're really looking for. The I7 has an advantage of almost a whole Gigahertz, but the E5 has the advantage in the multi-thread department. So, do you want a straight up faster CPU? take the I7. do you want better multi threading abilities? take the E5
