Hi, I'm getting between 30-40 fps on bf4. However, I feel like I should be getting more than this given my specs and I'm playing on lowest settings at 1080p.

Here are my specs:

Nvidia GTX 750Ti
Intel core i5-4670
MSI H87M-e33 mobo
8GB ram

Is this fps correct for lowest setting 1080p or is their something lowering my fps?

Cheers

latest drivers aren't always the solution for fps with BF4, at least not with me. I had to roll back several iterations before I found some that were really good. The latest version(s) always seemed to hinder fps somehow. Play around with the drivers. Obviously remember to do clean install of the drivers each time.

Also, could you post a screen shot of your BF4 settings?

This is a bit of a stretch but it might help. I'm using on board sound on my p6t board. By default, bf4 sets the audio to surround. In my case it seems like the on board sound was struggling with surround in the game, dropping frame rate like crazy. Setting it to stero, as I have a 2.1 system anyway, worked like a charm.

It wouldn't do 34fps consistently, my R9 270X gets constant 60fps 90% of the time with ultra settings fxaa but it drops down to low 30s in some parts of the campaign which is more demanding than multiplayer.

It's rare to find a card that does not drop down in BF4. They will never fix it :)
