I have an Asus RT-AC66R and a Linksys WRT54G. The asus is on the opposite corner of the house and i am a gamer. We had the old Linksys laying around, so using the hard line coming from the Asus into my room i plugged it into the Linksys. I changed the IP adress to not conflict. However, we constantly lose wireless on the Asus networks. Hard wired devices are fine. What am i doing wrong?

DO you have it at 2.4 or 5 - 5 is a bit more limited as far as obstructions like walls, etc it's better for clear areas
