Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 best speed performance RAM

I'm building a new rig with Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 MB and either a fx8350 or 8320 Cpu. Will it run smoother with 1866ddr or 2133ddr? My buget is tight so I'm going with 2- 2x4 8gb for now if I get 2 more later on which will be 4 sticks, will it run at 1866 or 2133 or will it default to 1600?

G.Skill memory is great.
I use Corsair memory in my personal rigs.
Either way you can't go wrong.
Shoot for 9/10 timings for 1866.
Try and go with 1.5v memory also, however 1.65v will work just fine too.

Default will be set at 1333 afaik, to get the higher speeds you will have to set it manually or enable xmp profiles in the bios.
There will be minimal gains using speeds even above 1600mhz when it comes to gaming.
I'd go for the 1866mhz memory since you can usually find that at the same price as 1600mhz.

Best bet will prob be 1866, many if not the majority of 8320/8350s can't run 2133 (at least without a couple of good voltage boosts (to both DRAM and MC) and even with that many don't run it (at least at 2133, they can run lower but why waste money ;) )

Thanks, thats what I figured. Im not a gamer but will be doing video and audio editing. Sometimes I see the 1866 cheaper then the 1600. What brand and latency/timing 1866 would work the smoothest?
