I am building a computer and I want to play elder scrolls online mostly on max settings on playable fps. I was thinking about this
http://

I was wondering about a gpu. I was thinking 1 r9 290x, 2 r9 280x, or what ever else you can come up with for around $500. I also don't mind overclocking so...
Also I want to know if that cpu cooler would do for overclocking

Solution
780Tis $590, 780's $440, 290X $470, 290 $370, 770 $290, 280x $300, 760 $200, 270x $180

You won't get 2 x R9 280X's for $500. That'll cost you $600. Same as a 780Ti which will work better than xfire 280x's.

Also a 780 will work better than 2 x 760's. And a 770 will work better than 2 x 270x's

The CPU cooler depends on your CPU plus whether it'll fit in your case

So I need 16 gb of ram? And could you recommend a cpu cooler that is cheap but allows for peak oc performance. Another thing should I invest in a gpu cooler if I plan on overclocking

2 x 4gb would be fine.

When new cards come out, old cards will drop in price. New cards will be expensive. After they've been released for a month, the old ones will dissapear and Radeon will release its new cards. Reviews will be out along with benchmark results. By Christmas you will know whether it's worth buying an 8 or 9 series card instead.

If you want to wait. At any time there is no clear choice as to buy what's available or wait till you see what's just come out. When something is released, there's ALWAYS something else just about to come out.

Me? If I see something I want I get it. I don't wait to see what's around the corner. Else you'll never buy anything.
