does gtx 760 have a huge difference than r9 270x?

is the few bucks worth getting the gtx 760 than r9 270x...what is your opinion guys? which is better for future use?

GTX 760: Overall better graphics card.

R9 270X: Better bang for buck.

The 760 is about a 10% gain in most games, barring a few outliers. So if it's only 10% more, it's a good choice.

i would definitely pick 760 if i have a money...i'm really in a tight budget cuz i'm building a new pc from scratch i've been using an obsolete system games barely play on low settings

true that but still i'm confused...in bench marks mostly the 760 beats the 270x but in amd game titles the 270x win

Get the GTX 760 since AMD's drivers are having problems right now.

Wait for a little sale on a GTX 760, overclock it as much as u can without it unstable, and watch it almost be a 770. :)

true that...nvidia cards tend to have less watt usage than amd
i mean "AMD" at the last part..i did type nvidia

Get the GTX 760 since AMD's drivers are having problems right now.


i didnt know that amd have driver problems...what about the mantle? they said the mantle increase performance

Here is the thing man, If you can afford the GTX 760 then get it. If you cannot then get the 270X. They are both decent cards and you can tweak the in-game settings for your desired performance.

If you are planning to get the 760 then save more money and get it. Either ways you can play your game on both cards, if you will ask which is better, there is ups and downs and you cannot get a concrete answer.

yeah its true both are decent cards...i want my card to run games for atleast 3-4 years with high settings in games i think...ultra would be absurd
