I want to start recording gameplay for youtube and I photo edit and render videos. I recently upgraded to an i7 4790k and currently i have a msi Ghz edition HD 7770 and i was wondering how much better a nvidia 750ti would be? worth it or not?

More about : upgrade needed

Not worth it. Those 2 cards are pretty close in comparison, they bang heads depending on the game.

A r9 280 or gtx 770 would be a worthy upgrade, even a 270x or gtx 760 would be a noticeable improvement.

if u want to do recording the best way is to download razer game booster it has lot other thing like display fps , Game boost ,connect to steam , auto sync ur game data save file to Drop box. And best part of it is a FREEWARE.

A 750 ti is roughly 20% faster and uses significantly less power. If they're similar in price, it's the 750 ti no question. However, you can get an r9 270 for $20 more than the 750 ti superclocked, which is a better deal if you're not worried about the extra power. It's all about your preference, but the hd 7790 or r7 260X is outclassed here.

check some of the amd cards. they have game capture software called predator. might be useful............ and not all cards have it so watch what you do. ( msi brand has it )

What is your budget? That CPU can handle anything, including an R9-295X2 and GTX TITAN Z.

I would swap out the PSU for a bigger one, and get a GTX 770, Get those two and you have yourself a pretty bossin setup.

Asus or Sapphire 280. Better performance than the 270x and less hiccups. Not a big fan of any of the 'X' cards. They average more problems from driver s to heat issues.
