Hi,

I have 2 profiles.

In "Power saver" I have set minimal processor state to 5% and max 100%.

In "Balanced" I have set minimal to 100% and max 100% (This is for gaming purpose, so that I get almost constant FPS).

When I am not playing games I select the "Power saver" profile. But after some time it automatically changes to "Balanced". I don't want that to happen because I'm doing normal load work which doesn't require 100% CPU.

Any idea how can this be solved?

I have Windows 8 Pro.

High Performance would give you 100% CPU, so why did you change the Balanced profile?

Because I don't want my CPU to run 100% when it's in normal load.

Yes. Balanced does not run your CPU at full load by default. Why not just switch from Balanced to High performance when you need it? It just seems like an unnecessary step to change Balanced into what High Performance already is?
