Hey, I am fairly new to the PC realm and would like to know some good SSDs that would be compatible with my motherboard. I don't know if the following information is redundant, but here it goes.
_____________________________________________________________
Processor: Intel Core i7 4930k
Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 770 2 GB
Hard-drive: 1 TB at 7200 RPM
Memory: 8 GB of DDR3-1866 Memory (Corsair Vengeance)
PSU: 750 Watt Corsair RM750

I would also love to know if an SSD is worth the money. Thanks!

I have been looking at the Samsung ones, but when would I use an SSD over my HDD?

Every time you power up you will be happy to have an SSD. If you have programs you use all the time (firefox, chrome browser, etc) you can install them on the SSD. Every time you install something new, you have to choose (and possibly do an "advanced" rather than an "automatic" install) where to install it. You will have to keep an eye on the free space on your SSD. It takes a little bit of work but is well worth it.
