Thought I'd post here since this is the site I keep finding my self on this site for answers
anyway to buisness

Platform:
Lenovo Ideapad Y850
Bios InsydeH20
Windows 8 64-bit

Problem:
-Slow start up, about double the time it took 3 days ago when everything was fine.
-Currently "stable" while running
-Extremely slow shut down (windows shuts down normally but then all the lights stay on and I can hear the fans still running with a blank screen)
-Cant acess SSD (shows up under device and disk manager but no Drive Letter or options to change it)

Long Story:
3 days ago my laptop had an over 20 min shutdown, and automatically restarted with the blue windows didn't start properly screen. I tryed bypassing however the laptop then started a loop of: Trying to start, Failing and diagnosing, restarting, Failing and going to blue windows repair screen.

Thats when I attempted the first recovery using the built in Lenovo OneKey Recovery, However that changed nothing. No windows set up screen, no proper start up. Same failing loop as before.
I then pulled the HDD out and plugged it into my older tower (32-bit Windows 7). I then completely formatted the drive (not the Partition that should house the recovery).

This begins what would be my second Recovery attempt however the OneKey Recovery couldn't detect any recovery files.

My third attempt was install Windows 8 off a Boot USB, which "worked" however the start up time was slow and everytime windows started an error poped up saying somethings gone wrong with the hard drives and I should back up my files.

Finally I tryed the onekey recover another time and It worked till the point just before windows 8 installs and shows you how to use it, thats where the screen went blank and I left it for a couple hours after which I shut off manually. When I turned it back on it picked up where it left off in the install and finished.

But now I'm having the problems listed above

Hope you can help as the laptops just over a year old, far to young to replace
