Hey guys,

I just replaced the PSU in my desktop PC after the original died. after the PSU was replaced the PC powered on ok but there is no startup screen and nothing is displayed on my monitor.

I initially thought the graphics card had gone so I used the motherboards VGA connection but am still having the same issue.

I have also tried new ram but again there is no display on the monitor.

Any ideas?

You obvious haven't connected the psu back correctly. Double check all psu connections - especially on the motherboard.

Which connection would cause this to happen?

Cpu fan powers on, Graphics card fan powers on.

I have already done this i7baby - no need to have a tantrum.

is it possibly that the mobo was fried from the faulty PSU?

the CPU heatsink is hot which I would assume means that there is power to the mobo.
