I was wondering if this system setup is good enough for bf4.
cpu- Intel core i5 4690
gpu- msi radeon r9 270 gaming 2gb
HDD- 1TB seagate barracuda
Ram- g-skill sniper 16gb (4x4)
mobo- msi b85-g43 gaming motherboard
windows 8.1 64bit

Any recommendations would be very helpful. I dont want to spend over 1,100 including operating system. Thanks

More than good enough for medium to high settings on BF4, but if you can drop to 8GB of RAM and spend that money on a better graphics card like the R9 280. Then do so.

8GB of RAM is more than enough for gaming and MOST other things as well.

Yes, that will be plenty fast enough. I'd recommend you'd get a R9 270x instead of an R9 270, and if you can afford it, I'd recommend an R9 280. Also, what PSU were you thinking about getting?

should be able to play well at medium. i would not go high with those, just to maintain a good framerate esp with the explosions and all

The R9 280 is considerably better.

High to ultra settings in MOST games should be possible.

Just make sure that the 500W PSU you chose is a quality unit. Which one did you choose?

Would not suggest it at all.

Here is a tiered PSU list, stick to tier 1 and 2.
