LGS is not detecting my G400s mouse anyone knows how to fix it?

I didnt recive any cd's for it and the only thing i can download from the site is LGS. Where can i find the driver for it?

Have you tried uninstalling LGS and reinstalling it. There are no drivers for the mouse. If the cursor moves when you move the mouse, then the driver is good. LGS is just there to give you the button programming capabilities. I have a G700 and LGS has given me a couple of problems with sometimes losing the devices. A reinstall has always fixed the problem.

If you uninstall LGS, does your mouse work OK?

Yes it works just fine. I just need the LGS to change some buttons and settings.

OK then it uses a Windows standard driver. And there's something wrong with LGS. Make sure you've got the latest version. The G400S is fairly new.

Was LGS working and then stopped recognizing the mouse, or was this the first install and it doesn't see it?

Yes i have the latest version and i tried to run it as administrator but it didnt help.

It didn't detect it at all on the first install, second , third and so on. I tried it at least 10 times alredy.

Go into Device Manager and expand the "Mice and other pointing devices" does the mouse show up as Logitech HID-compliant G400s Gaming Mouse or does it have a generic mouse listed?

OK, it's probably one of 2 problems then. Either the LGS software is not installing correctly, or the mouse is not reporting it's hardware Ids correctly. I know you said you reinstalled the software several times. Was it always from the same downloaded file or did you try downloading it a second time? If the file corrupted duringthe download, using the same one over again won't do any good.

It wasn't always from the same file and i even tried previous versions of LGS.
