Hello! Recently in the past 3-4 days my internet has started developing some kind of bipolar disorder. Both me and my fiance are experiencing lag spikes. I have an Zhone 4 Port ADSL +2 modem connected through an 'Jensen Scandinavia AL1000G'. I'm not really certain why there are two of them, I'm just used with a router.

Anyhow, when pinging google I usually get 2-3 pings of 30ms followed by 300, then 400, then 30ms again and it just bounces back and forth, it's very random. Then after maybe 15 seconds I will get a Request Timed Out.

I use Malware Bytes together with Eset Nod32 and so does my fiance. She recently had a lot of virus trouble which I fixed by installing the aformentioned programs, but I don't think this is the problem because she says it works fine on school. So when she gets home, the internet is shitty again.

Thanks for the assistance!

There is not much you can do usually I would suggest talking to your internet provider, if possible test on another device to check if it's the network or some sort of pc error(doesn't really occur to often)
