Hello everyone,

My build is:
4790k @ 4.6GHz
780ti (SLIx2)
16GB kingston RAM @ 2400MHz

Im having some trouble with FPS drops, my game can run at around 140 FPS and suddenly drop to around 30 without reason (not in cinematic, actual game play).

Added game graph, ram distribution, and temps/loads during play:

Any ideas what causing my spikes? can my CPU really be a bottleneck???

Seems as if BF4 has been borked lately. It was running great about three weeks ago, then game started lagging. Took a major CPU / RAM / motherboard upgrade to get the game running well again. I now have to disable Origin in-game to get the game to run properly, probably because of EVGA Precision X. Are you running the latest video drivers? I'm on 340.52 WHQL.

Latest drivers yes, also when i limit my fps to 65 my game doesn't get above 40 fps.

Seems very odd to me that this kind of rig cant run smoothly on 1080.

My fps in game fluctuates between 35 and 60 fps on ultra settings (AA deferred disabled), but maintains 60 fps mostly in buildings. And all of this running on a PC with the same CPU running on stock speeds and a weaker GPU. Not sure why you have those fps spikes. Try repairing the game in Origin and disabling Origin in-game.

Didn't work I'm afraid, I'm not sure what is causing the CPU graph to act like that too..

For anyone who will encounter this problem:

After following some suggestions on another website, upgrading to Window 8.1 annoyingly helped..
