no device drivers found

hi sir, i am facing a problem while installing windows 7 since 4 days.
when i switch on the pc on the BIOS screen there is no detection of HDD and it indicating "disk boot failure insert system disk and press enter" then i inserted my bootable windows7 ultimate cd.
the cd booted up and " install now " appeared on screen. i clicked on it proceeds to " select hard drive for install windows" but there is no hard drives on the list, it gave an error message:no device drivers found.........
i have used recovery tools but no use
how can i solve this
my pc specfications:
HDD: seagate barracuda 500GB
INTEL core 2 duo processor
GIGAByte GA-G31-s2L

Sounds like your hard drive is dead. Is it a 7200.12? those had a bug in the firmware that would make them stop appearing in the BIOS.

Also, when reinstalling (on another hard drive probably) It will help to have the drivers from Gigabyte's site to install your hardware. You may need them on a thumbdrive to install when it gives the F6 prompt.
