Hello everyone, i have some strange black dots and lines flickering all over my screen, i tried diffrent drivers, diffrent video setting (resolution, shadows etc ) tried to reinstall my windows, nothing works, it worked perfectly 2 moths ago, i never had this kind of problem never before, i think it's possible to be the vram but i'm not sure, the gpu temp do not pass 70C , i am not overclocking neither undercloking. tried to fix my registry clean up viruses but none had to do with this problem, i'm out of ideas, i searched days and nights for similar problem, and 0 succes. this problem don;t show in all games like Rayman Legends but i have it on Mafia 2, Assassin's Creed , TDU2 and many more, very rare that a game dsn't show me this dots or what the hell they are, i could see artifacts too like spikes but very very rare. Hope u Guys can help me. My GPU is an Ati Radeon HD 4730 from Powercolori have it from 3 years or so. Also here's a video to see better what i'm talking about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Np8hC86LTak&feature=you...

Are you sure it is not in your monitor? Try a different one. If it is your GPU and it is still under warrantee then send it back for an RMA. You could try raising your GPU voltage to see if it corrects the problem but watch your GPU temps when you do that.

since your gpu is 3 years old maybe its just starting to die if the solution posted by @JimF_35 doesn't help you you can try to underclock your vram a litle bit (25mhz or so) to check if that helps

Try overvolting or underclocking, if that doesn't work you'll have to buy a new GPU. :(

Agreed. People forget that silicon degrades over time and you have to increase the voltages or underclock to compensate. The problem is you eventually hit a cliff were it requires way too many volts just to keep it sable and when that happens it is time to get a new one.

Any good program to increase the voltage? or underclock it? i never worked with CCC overdrive.

Btw, i runed a vram stress test for 3 hours long, it shows that i have 4 errors, something with FFEF instead of FFEE, i do not know what that means, the program is called VMT
