I can't wait a few days until i receive the items to ask, what bottleneck can i expect with a weaker 2 core CPU? It is the Intel G2020 processor and the GPU is ASUS 750ti OC. Also i have stock 4gb ram that came with the system, am i going to get much better performance if i upgraded the ram? I would consider upgrading the CPU but then that means i would have to get a new Windows License key...

Solution
yes there will be cpu bottleneck not too much however adding another stick will only help you slightly

and if you are changing mobo then you must get a new key if its only cpu i guess no problem

CPU bottleneck would be the case, but with a 750ti, probably not that much. You could upgrade your ram and get an increase in performance, but again, not by that much. It actually depends on what games your playing and what your doing on your PC aside from gaming.

it would be a big bottleneck but i dont thinhk it will kill you though and upgrading the ram might make the game play like a few fps more 2-4 fps .. games arent really dependent on ram as it is on gpu and cpu so the ram wont raise the speed much.. as for the key am sorry to hear that

I have the older pentium g860 which is just a hair slower than the g2020. On the g860 you can the cpu is bottlenecking my 650 ti because even though i can run on medium settings and 1080p on some games, only having two cores will make games act kind of glitchy and hang every one once in a while. If you can i would definitly recommend you get a better cpu. Dual cores will run games just not very well.

I am not a huge pc gamer but want to play CS GO (i know i should hopefully be able to max it at 1080p, and i have never played skyrim). I thought if you changed the CPU you would have to get a new license? Is this incorrect what is the likelihood that a a i5 ivy processor would be compatible with my board?

Its an illegal way to activate windows. It tells windows not to ping microsofts activation servers. If you want to go the legal route try contacting microsoft and explain your situation. I've tried that in the past but they didn't help me.

no dont go for used ones they might be overclocked and silicons generally degrade after some time.......get a new one
you can use 3rd gen processors on your mobo like i3-3220,i5-3450 etc.......
