I have

A8-6600k
Asus A58M-E
4GB HyperX
Sapphire HD 7850 2G 256bit OC Edition
Strike-X 700W 80+bronze

I'm trying to install a dual monitor ...
But when I plug in the 2 monitor .. I get the no signal and black screen,,

But when I plug the DVI-I to VGA.. It works alone
but when DVI-D to VGA only it doesnt work.. What could be the problem ,,

You have to go into Catalyst Control Center and enable the second monitor.

If the problem is only in the 2nd monitor VGA to DVI-D ... then the other monitor should work right ? (DVI-I to VGA )
But in my case .. when I plugged in the 2 monitors .. Both monitor (NO SIGNAL)

this is bizzare... did you try to do the thing that guy said? go into catalyst control center and enable second monitor?

so if you connect 1 monitor at a time, they both work?

how are you trying to connect them? 1 with vga - vga from the motherboard connectro? and the other from dvi-i - vga from the graphics card? is that true?

I'm not sure if this could work, plugging one thing from the cpu graphics and the other from video card...

but if you want to plug from the video card then the option is DVI-I - vga adaptor, and hdmi - vga (or display port - vga) adaptor. DVI-I carries a VGA signal and can use an adaptor, DVI-D only carries a DVI signal.
