last night around 1am, i was drinking some soda, being sick i started to cough and slightly, choked, but this resulted in me spitting my drink all over my desk, most of which landed on my keyboard which is now dead...yay. And some few droplets seemed to have gotten into my case.

At 2 am i turned my computer back on after immediately shutting it down. I was using it for a few minutes and it randomly decides to restart....did this roughly 4 times. Now i thought im screwed somethings wrong i gotta replace everything, i looked inside, nothing was wet. My cpu on the other hand was now idling at 58C and whenever i moved the mouse shot up to 68C and after i opened my browser it shut off the pc....

as im posting this it seems to have either dried or something as im now idling back at 36C...should i be worried for any possible potential damages?

yea you should be worried .. you should get someone to pop the case open and take it apart clean of the thermal paste on the cpu and re appl a new shed..

If it works fine and the temperatures are normal, then leave it alone. There's no way the thermal paste could have been affected, but it's possible the motherboard received a couple droplets that you didn't see.
