Hi Guys!

I recently got an xbox one ( I know, I usually game on PC's but I wanted one for the eventual halo exclusives sorry.) and I would like to connect it to my computer monitor to play. It only has HDMI out however and my monitor only has DVI(used by PC) VGA and display port in. It is a Dell U2312HM . I was wondering if there was a cable I could buy for HDMI to Display Port? Or if I would just be better to save and get a second monitor that has HDMI? I'm also curious about getting the audio from the xbox one to play through my PC's speakers/headset if anyone has had similar set up issues.

Thanks!

1) You can use an HDMI splitter, and select each time whether the X360's or PC's output to reach the display.

Or use the monitor's Display Port/VGA for your computer, freeing the monitor's DVI in (to be used through an HDMI->DVI adapter).

As for X360 audio, well.. you should fit its HDMI output into a receiver, which will output separate audio (to be directed to computer speakers, or a more elaborate audio system) and video.
