Bored of current games. Any suggestions?

Today is a sad day. I just realised that I have not truly enjoyed a game since bioshock infinite last year. I've played many games, the metro series, skyrim, crysis an dead island. None of them have given me the experience that bioshock gave me. So, here I am. Asking the community for any suggestions of good, story driven for me to try that might reignite my love for video games.

I must also add that I play on pc so no console exclusives please...

Another vote for Far Cry 3, if you can find a bundle that includes Blood Dragon definately buy it, that game was totally rad. Kinda hope they make another one.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution had a pretty good story too, I still need to try a non-lethal playthrough.

Have not gotten terribly far into it, but Rage is another strong FPS. Kinda has a Borderlands feel to it, but the cast is far less... insane.

Which leads to another reco for Borderlands 2, the side missions add a lot to the story. The only downside is the leveling structure, I did most of the sidequests and by the time I hit 50% on the first playthrough I had passed level 30 and enemies and loot stopped scaling to my level so there was a lot of worthless gun drops and I was...

Fortunately beating it unlocks 2 more modes that allow enemies and loot to scale again.

Story driven? the witcher 1 and 2, many people dont like the first one, you can start at the second one, what starts at the first game finishes there. Also i found the F.E.A.R. trilogy quite underrated, sick shooting mechanics and great storytelling.

I finished far cry 3 already, it was alright but not the best. Have bouhgt the walking dad from humble store. looking forward to playing it.

I am playing borderlands through with some friends, so I can't really solo it without them. I really enjoyed rage a few years ago, found the ending very abrupt and unsatisfying but am hoping for a sequel. Far cry 3 was a good game but haven't bought blood dragon but may try it. thanks!
