Hello,

So a few months ago I bought a new monitor and I made the mistake of buying a monitor with only a VGA output. On my gfx I have 3 outputs (VGA, DVI, HDMI). I connected my main to VGA and of course it worked, but the other monitor was also VGA and I had no way to connect it, so I bought a hdmi to vga adapter, connected it multiple times and it never worked. Now I'm buying a monitor that has an HDMI output and I am wondering will it actually work as a dual monitor setup, with 1 VGA and 1 HDMI monitor? And also I'm not recieving the Hdmi cable and I am wondering what does it really look like as I haven't used an hdmi cable before on monitors?
Would something like this work? http://www.tehnomanija.rs/kablovi_231/hama-kabl-11955.h...
Will something this simple with 2 same ends work or do I have to get something different?
Thanks for the answer! :)

Yes, that HDMI cable is the standard connection for PC to monitor. If your card has a HDMI output and your monitor has an HDMI input, you should be in good shape. Those HDMI to VGA adapters never work because there is no VGA (analog) signal present at the HDMI output port of your card. You would need a HDMI to VGA converter, which are more expensive and have their own issues.

Thanks for the answer, hopefully that's the case. :)
