I am ordering this build in a few days and wanted to make sure that my power supply was enough. Any advice would be appreciated!
Case:Aerocool V3X
CPU:AMD FX-6300 Black Edition
RAM:HyperX 2x4GB 1866mHz
MOBO:Gigabyte 970A-DS3P Motherboard AMD-970 Chipset
GPU:Sapphire Radeon R9 270x Dual-X OC Edition
HDD: a 1TB HDD
PSU: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Suppl
Will this be enough? I entered all these components to a PSU calculator and it said minimum wattage was 330w but recommended is 380w but I dont know if this is accurate or not.

More about : 500w psu build

500 Watts is the minimum for that video card. I would go to at least 600W or more.

That is more than enough, that PSU is plenty for that build you have nothing to worry about - i would expect at max loads even with overclocks on the CPU and GPU to not see more than 400w usage.

500W is plenty. The calculator is not far off. The R9 270X has a 180W TDP, the FX-6300 has a 95W TDP for a combined 275W. Add the rest of the system and you're a bit above 300W at peak load.

I thought TDP wasnt the actual power consumption?

It isn't, but it's closely related. It actually specifies how much heat the cooler should be designed to dissipate. But that heat comes from the electrical power, so... yeah.
