Hello people.
For a couple of years I've been using, without any issues,a Hama 16 GB Memory Stick.Until the other night.
I was trying to copy some photos to my stick, but suddenly I got an error, saying that a photo is write protected.I ejected the stick, plugged it back it and it said that it needs formatting. But I can't format it.It says that the disk is write protected.
Since then I've been surfing the web looking for a solution, but I wasn't been able to find the one that works for me.
I've tried :
-Disk Management format ( Can't, the format tab is blank,I can't click it )
-Normal format (right click on the icon and select format, can't,it says the disk is write protected )
-Registry (All that thing with changing WriteProtect value from 1 to 0,still says it's write protected )
-Command Prompt ( With Diskpart, clear disk attributes readonly, clean, format and all that stuff,it says the media is write protected )
+ A thousand of other programs ( HP,Recovery,Restore and even some Russian website with some VID and PID stuff ).But none of it worked.
As i mentioned,I surfed the web but none of the solutions I found were able to fix my issue.
Can you help me?
Thanks.
