My current Corsair CX 600w bit the dust and I don't want to get the same one since that one barely lasted 5 months since I built this PC. I'm still new to wants good and what isn't. I have a mid tower case with the PSU slot on the bottom.

More about : recommend psu

At the very least it would be helpful to know what processor and graphics card you have and whether you plan to overclock anything please

Don't know what your running hardware wise, but the Seasonic X series is amazing. Plus a lot of psu's out on the market are rebrand Seasonics.

Sorry guys, I'm running with an AMD FX 8350, Geforce GTX 760 and the motherboard is an ASrock 970 extreme3.

If your budget is really tight this one is OK but a similar level to the Corsair CX series http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-100b1060...

These two are great however if you can spare the extra

EDIT, if rebates are not your thing, this is the same price without rebates and is top notch too http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1550sxxb...

A good 500w will do

ASrock 970 extreme3 , doesn't even support the 8320 or 8350.

Makes sense now but still a very poor board to run a 8350 on.
