Hey guys. I really need some help choosing 140mm fans for the front of my 350D. I recently purchased 3 fans for the case; 1 af120 for the rear exhaust, and 2 sp120 pwm editions for the h100i cooler. I am looking for 2 140mm fans for the front of the computer and have been told many different things in my quest to find the perfect fans. I am looking for fans that are as quiet as the stock one but that move just as much air or more. So far I have checked out the af140 queit editions, and a ton of noctuas.

I really like the look of the corsair fans, but want to make sure that I get the best fans possible. I also want to make sure that the fans are strong enough considering there is a front dust cover on the 350d. Thanks!

Very nice fans.

Thanks for the reply! They look very nice! I only see the quiet editions. Would they move enough air? and how would they compare to the noctuas?

Noctuas are the best , but cost a bit more.

I have Noctua's in my Z97 build.

I live in the states. Money is not an issue with the fans so please let me know what you think is best. Someone over on OverClockers recommend these

Phanteks PH-F140HP

And said I should go with high static fans. This is all over my head. Funny how the mans and color scheme have been the hardest part of the build so far! lol.

Hey SR-71, which noctuas do you have?!

Blacks \ Industrial and Redux.

They are louder than the Corsairs.

Blackbird! those are the exact fans I was thinking of getting. The a14-FLX by noctua! how does your sone like them? They are extremely ugly lol. Do you think they will out perform and be more silent than the corsair af140's? the af140s look incredible, just scared they wont move enough air to keep rig cool.

Here are my specs

i7-4790k
32gb's of corsair dominator platinum ram
z97 gryphon
evga 780 6gb
1000w EVGA superNova G2
1tb 840 evo
corsair h100i
corsair 350d

I might sli in the future and want to make sure I have enough cool air coming into the case

Yes , they are better than the corsairs , very solid fans move a little more air also.

You can't go wrong with the Noctuas , they cost more but the performance is worth it.

Good luck with your choice.

Thank you so much for your help! I really appreciate it!
I think I will be going with the Noctua NF-A14 FLX, unless someone can convince me to go with the Corsair AF140's (Boy are they sexy, and would look great with the rest of my build!)

Anyone else have an opinion on this?
