Static buzzing when gaming

My Antec VP450P power supply recently started being troublesome (loud whirring, failing fan, not computer savvy enough to open it, etc), so I replaced it just in case. I got a Corsair CX 600M instead, and ever since then I've experienced a -very- high pitched static noise whenever I play a game or watch a movie on the computer. Some facts that may be significant:

- Only started after replacing Antec VP450P power supply with a Corsair CX 600M.
- Sound is similar to how some TVs sound, mostly when you turn them on. Could also be compared to what you hear when the TV shows noise.
- Used to hear it only when playing very demanding games like Skyrim, can now hear it clearly even on low settings in World of Warcraft.
- Noise decreases with FPS. If I limit the FPS to 30, the noise is barely audible but still there if I bring my ear to the computer. Noise is very audible when FPS is at 60 or above.
- The noise does not come from my speakers or headphones. Having tried listening for it with a paper tube, it seems to be coming from the area of the GPU, CPU and motherboard, but I could not pinpoint it any further than that.

From what I read, I can speculate that it has something to do with the PSU being far stronger than the GPU requires, resulting in volt leakage or something. I have only had the new PSU for a few days, so I am thinking about returning it for my money back and buying another Antec VP450P since I am not planning on upgrading this computer further.

I would appreciate some help/advice, though.
