I turned on turbo boost and now my computer won't turn on, what is broke?
Basically I turned on turbo boost and my computer turned off straight after and won't turn back on, what can I do?

Cpu: i5 3570k
Gpu: gtx 750 ti
Mobo: asus z77-a
Psu: atx 500w (not a good brand)

Solution
Any nasty smells from the PSU? Turbo Boost probably added another 15W-30W of load, (your system probably draws 120W-130W) which isn't much. What brand and model is the PSU?

dont need to, i simply took the cpu out and put it back in again, all fixed :) but i have not a clue what brand and stuff my power supply is as it doesnt say i have only upgraded EVERYTHING except for the power supply, would you mind recommending me one that will be good enought for turbo? i will give you the best answear considering you told me what caused it :)

no i will definatly need more as im upgrading to a 780 ti and will most likely overclock it a tiny bit, and will turn on turbo for i5 3570k and 32gb ram, can you recommend a nice 750w? or even a 850w for futureproof

and yes you were 100% right, it was the power supply. i upgraded a while ago to a good xfx 750w and works perfectly now.
