Hi there, I have a program I bought, i have no more copies. ;(
I want to copy it and install it later after a format my pc, but if i do copy paste style, it asks me to put a password or activation code, wich i dont have.
I ask if there is anyone that knows of a way to back up the program without it knowing later that i changed system.
Just like in android, I can do it easily with titanium backup.,,

What program, and where did you get it?

Generally, you can't just copy and save an already installed Windows application. Doesn't work like that.

it is a business accounting program, that registrates inventory, data photos, and makes invoices, etc, very useful, but the guy that sells it, is very greddy and does not want to give me another backup copy, even though I purchased from him and said I had to format the pc, he wants me to buy another copy T.T because in this area only he monopolises this program. ( his tutor died, was a great man and he always cooperated, this guy is not)
can i get another solution? ( i know cracking wont do coz i dont know...

For something that complex, no way you can just 'copy' the existing install and port it to a new PC. Almost certainly will not work.
You could try it, though.

Unless your business is really, really tied to that particular application, screw that guy. He is, IMHO, way out of line. Hardware and drives die, software needs to be reinstalled. If he wants you to buy a whole new license, screw him.
How did it get installed without the password or code?

There is no way for any of us out here to know what parameters that software checks to see if it is different hardware.

yes, it is indeed tied to that program :(  well, it can be either entered by password, it shows you diferent words, and each word means a letter, it shows up randomly. 8 words, so 8 letter password i guess.
and i saw him one time using a program to crack the program without password, just like KMS, but i failed to copy it on my usb various times hehehe. so..no other solution right? this is bad.

So the owner of the application has to use some crack to get into what his company sells?
Yeah, you may be screwed.

Look to exporting whatever data that thing allows, and moving to something else.

I can do a backup of my inventory, everything else, but the actual program, after passing to another pc, it detects a change in system and needs password.
I hope this pc lasts long.
its new and i checked everything and works as normal. core i5 8gb ram, widnows 8.1 pro did a stress test. working normal.
but when i leave it on for a while (sometimes it gives BSOTD) mist of the times it gives me a black screen saying, select a proper boot device...I can not boot into my HDD, I need to take out the power cord, plug it again and boot for it to go into windows again. I am so frustrated. I dont want to warranty because if i do. I lose the program T.T fml

Right. Hopefully this application exports in some common readable format.
Which could be imported into something a little better/widely used.

Then, of course, you'll have training for your employees, etc.
And probably have to hire someone to do the actual conversion. From my deep personal experience, that is not always easy.
