While searching for a mechanical keyboards, I found two that catched my eye. The problem is, i cant really find the difference between these two besides one using cherry reds and the other with cherry blacks. The price difference is also quite large, about a $30 difference. Hopefully if anyone has some experience with any of these two keyboards can enlighten me the pros or cons or something like that :p

Here are the keyboards:

Funny, I have used both. Back in the day. Now I use them at work but I can tell you the difference.

Everything between the brackets "()", is what makes the difference from the other keyboard.

The Nighthawk X9:
. Cherry MX RED mechanical key switches (soft linear) (Easy to press)
. Individual backlit keys for enhanced visuals (Accessories, makes it more attractive to buy)
. Backlight setting memory (This is all opitional, since the keyboard has 2 USB ports you can add an Light Mechanism To light up the place you are at the moment slightly)
. 4 level backlight modes (pulse mode on level 4) (Bright sensitivity of the Backlit Keys)
. 128k on-board memory
. Laser engraved keycap
. N-key rollover (full NKRO on USB, any combination)
. Embedded multimedia keys
. Built in 2 high-speed USB 2.0 hub (max 100mA each)
. Built in headphone & microphone jack pass-through (This is an really good thing, it's an option that if you have a headset but the wire is really short. You can plug in your headset in the Jack of the keyboard.)
. Heavy duty braided cable
. Gold plated connectors (Gold is by no doubt the best conductor ever. So if something happens to your keyboard, you won't receive a ESD (ESD stands for Electro Static Discharge this makes sure you won't get a shock if something weird happens to your Keyboard)
. Tilt legs
. Windows key disabled function
. Wrist pad for maximum palm comfort
. US ANSI 104-key
. Programmable macro keys (optional downloadable software) ( Only really useful if you play a lot of games or if you want to place commands for your PC (Shortcuts))

I would go for the Nighthawk, it has so much more options than the Sentey has, including more accessories, extra USB ports, and a Wrist Rest Pad.
