hi, i run a gmod server off of my pc and i was wondering if there is any ddos protection program i can run to help me with ddosers. thanks.

If someone was skilled enough to ddos you they will get it eventually. As long as you have a half decent firewall and anti virus you will be fine with the "gmod dedossers"

what about a vpn and running the server through a vpn. would that work? Update: ok i have got a good firewall its the comodo firewall. a i all set to run my server or should i try something else.

Well you don't want to stack software firewalls/AVs, as they will eat up system resources, one is all you need.
A VPN is only for for like point to point, as in EVERYONE who accesses your server would need to setup a VPN to access it, and they'd have to use whatever VPN tool you used to create one.

ok thanks. i turned off my windows firewall and turned on my comodo firewall. will this firewall protect me from ddossers or dossers?

Yes it should protect you to a degree, depending on the strength of the attack.

Know that DDOSing is illegal, and you can contact your ISP about it if it continues.
