Okay first let me say my rig is laughable right now my FPS is playable barely. Right now I can only afford to upgrade either my processor or my Graphics card. Currently I have
Nvidia Geforce GT520 2gb ddr3.
Intel Pentium G620 2.6ghz
Motherboard: BIOSTAR H61MLV2 8.2
Ram 4GB
Laptop HDD 500gb (tower pc but using my old laptops HDD)
Monitor is just a cheap Flat screen only capable of 1024x768 resolution (No HDMI port)
Should I upgrade the processor or the Graphics I can only afford one upgrade right now and I am not picky about Optimizing the quality and if I can get even a little better performance I am happy.
Like I said I know this rig is a joke but can only do what I can right now.
I am willing to buy used parts from Ebay if I need would just like to know of the two choices which should I upgrade for some improvement

I would say graphics first. What is your budget, and what is the brand and model (not just wattage) of your PSU? A HD7750 or GTX750 would be substantial upgrades, not too expensive, and not require a PSU upgrade.Still might want to stick with 6770.

Its the same as the 5770 with minor changes. Its faster than AMD Radeon HD 7750 usually. Plus given his budget it will help save as much money as possible for other upgrades like PSU if needed and CPU later.

I'd need to take a look at it to remember the brand and model but the wattage is 450 sorry only thing I can remember I bought it quite some time ago. Sorry I am not too knowledgeable with parts at least not well enough. Also thanks for the advice

Not until we know more about the PSU. You're right about the HD6770 being a little stronger (and certainly cheaper), but even that could smoke a PSU-shaped object like a Logisys, Apevia, or Diablotek.Yes that is true, but I think given the rest of the state of his build its going to be a low-quality PSU, most likely from an older pre-built system or similar quality of the crap like HP would throw in a PC.
For the 6770

If you cannot win this one, multiple others are selling around this price. They are so cheap and high performance I have considered buying one many times before as a back up encase my main GPU would ever die. They are always cheap.
For the PSU its probably highly recommended to spend about $40 on one of these for safety reasons.

You will even get about $20 back for mail in rebate and once that comes back you will have still about $45 of that original $100 budget you have. You can let it grow a few more months and grab up a CPU and have a pretty good system overall.

ok sorry for taking so long Apparently my PSU is some generic brand the model is LPW2 430W I looked up the case which was a micro-atx linkworld tower case so sorry I don't know what brand my psu is even after looking at it.
Only the model was listed on it and googling it just brings up the my tower case.

6770 is still really good performance. Probably the best performance per dollar ratio you will see for a really long time. Most games today it will manage 1080p with medium settings, and on many you could enable some high settings if you pick selectively.
Yes you are best to get the EVGA PSU I liked earlier. Its probably the cheapest good one you can buy. There are better ones obviously but its a lot cheaper than those.
Then after you get that done, save up and when you get about $100 you can probably grab an Ivy Bridge i3. Once you get those parts your system will be a pretty good budget system.
