wireless netgear problem

after loading netgear wireless and connecting to internet I get "can not display this web page" after launching explorer. What gives?

Did you just get a new router and this problem appeared?

Things you can try first: Is your modem properly connected to the ethernet input on your router with an ethernet cable? Also is your modem's coxial cable securely fitted on the back of the modem and on the wall?
