Opinions/Experience on the Sapphire R9 280X?

Solution
i'm using the dual X version, it's FAST @ 1080p. now bear in mind that the 285 is already out with newer feature sets you can try to consider that card as well.

also i've been advocating that radeon cards are "broken" without radeonpro. this 3rd party software adds dynamic vsync. (try playing ac4 blackflag with DVsync on and off).

what version of sapphire are you going with?

I bought a Dual X Sapphire r9 280X 3GB last night. How does yours hold up with modern titles (Next Gen) games?

well the most demanding game i have here is crysis 3 and it's running pretty well (better than the gtx650ti boost that i used to have). the only next gen title i'm looking out is nba2k15 which will be dx11.

games run well because i have dynamic vsync.

i don't think you can setup game profiles in afterburner (correct me if i'm wrong). the good thing with radeonpro is that when i fire my old games, resident evil 4/re5 you stick from 500 to 700mhz coreclock and the game will still be buttery smooth which result in less heat.
