Okay let me start by saying don't tell me to upgrade my PC, I know it needs an upgrade and I'm getting a whole new PC. Just wondering what would be the best gaming GPU i could get today for the set up that wouldn't bottleneck. (Giving this PC away to my little brother) I was using the "MSI 8400GS", but it's starting to crap out and slow down.

PC specs:

OS: Windows 7 home 32bit (I will be upgrading it to 64bit when i get the time for a clean install)
CPU: Pentium(R) Dual-Core E6700 3.2GHz with stock heatsink/fan
Current GPU: NVIDIA Geforce MSI 8400GS
RAM: 4.00GB 800MHz DDR2 (3,25GB useable until upgrade)
PSU: ATX 500 watt

Thank you.

Update: Forgot to add the PSU

I would say the 200 series and under for Nvidia (maybe even 400) or the 5000 series from AMD (Maybe 6000) Had a E4600 and a E6600 at one point and my GTX 260 did fine on them. Better than the GT 430 i had before that. Those video cards came out around the same time as those CPU's so thats why i'm saying those ones. I even ran a GTX 480 but that was once i got my Q6600 though. but that CPU wasn't good enough to run the high end games. Ended up getting a Q9550 and over clocked it to 3.5. Just recently went to a FX-8320 @ 4.5 GHz so yea now i have no issues lol

Also damn didn't realize such a big diffrence between the E6700 and E6600. 3.2 GHz VS 2.4. wow.

Any Canadian store that sell these cards ?, what would you prefer/recommend out of what you suggested. I heard the 750ti brings back old PCs, not sure if that's to powerful for my system.

Update: A computer shop near me sells a "Zotac" GeForce GT 640 2GB, would that work at all with my system ?
