i just purchased a new SSD for my desktop and decided to put my 128gb SSD in my laptop. i was wondering:

1.) Is sleep/hibernation bad for my SSD? (currently set to never, and under advanced settings in windows 8.1, its set to 9000 minutes)

2.) What can I do to get the best out of any SSD?

also a question for my first desktop build if anyone feels like answering it, what give be better frames at higher resolution, GTX 550ti 1gb(each) SLI or a single GTX750ti 2gb?

Solution
I wouldn't worry about it with modern SSD's.
I'd move your page file over to an HDD if you wanted, but that will also reduce performance of your page file.

Just disable your Defrag tasks and you're fine.
