i7 4790k @ stock.

EVGA P2 SUPERNOVA 1000 WATT
EVGA G2 SUOERNOVA 850 WATT (DEDICATED FOR THE CARD)

1TB 7200rpm HDD

I have the 850 watt psu plugged in to the 295x2, it's lighting up and the fan on the rad is spinning. So it appears to be getting power. The 850 watt is ONLY powering the card.
The card seems to be firmly seated in the pci-e, and I even changed pci-e slots and still couldn't get a signal.
I've tried different displays. a 40inch Samsung LCD TV, a 32inch Dynex TV, and currently I'm using a 27inch asus monitor (I'm hooked in to the onboard dvi).
None of the mini-dp ports seem to send a singal, nor the dvi-d, I've tried all of them. When I look at my device manager, only the onboard video adapter is displayed. I tried installing AMD drivers, however even they don't seem to see the card.
I'm pretty stumped. Tomorrow I plan on going back to tiger direct, and hopefully they'll be able to diganos the problem, but I'm open to suggestions.
