Should I upgrade to DDR4?

I currently have 2 DDR3 1333mhz Ram sticks and Im upgrading my cpu and motherboard within a week or so... Should I also pick up some DDR4 ram or is it not worth it?

No, not worth it. Wait for mainstream release with Skylake. Post your whole build please.

Will have to go X99, very high end and expensive to run DDR4 this early in it's life cycle

With CPUs all have IMC, it requires a CPU that can run DDR4 as well.

DDR4 won't fit. It has more pins and is longer than DDR2 or 3. As well as being only rated at 1.2V.
