No one can confirm that yet, don't depend on rumours mate.
There already some leaks from MSI and Zotac for what it looks like a 980 with a non reference cooler. The Zotac ones looks real while the MSI is still a render.

There isn't any confirmed prices or anything real just rumors that they will be around $500 although there was a tomshardware article recently that seemed to doubt they would actually end up being that low
