Hey guys,
As far as my system goes. Im running an old PC...its an Inspiron 531 Desktop. The graphics card I am using is a NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430. The HDTV I am using is an Emerson 32" HD LCD TV.

The issue I am having is that there is about 2.5" of black bars on either side of the display. I have gone to control panel > display> and messed around with screen resolutions and other setting there. I cannot seem to get a full screen display on my TV from the computer.

Oh also I went to Fry's Electronics and bought a vga - HDMI converter so that the vga signal and audio signals from the computer are converted to HDMI and just plug directly to one of the TVs HDMI ports.

Does anyone know how to get the display to be full screen on a tv. Im at a loss right now.

Thanks!
-Mike
