Hey guys!
I'm new in building PC's and this is the PC which I might build this coming January. These are the specs,

CPU: AMD FX6300 3.5Ghz Rs.7,500
GPU: Asus NVIDIA GTX 760 Direct CUII OC 2GB GDDR5 Rs.19,790
RAM: 2x4GB Rs.5,200
M.Board: ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 Motherboard Rs.4,700
PSU: Corsair VS550 550 Watt Rs. 3000
HDD: WD 1TB Rs.Rs.3820
Case: Some cheap case of Rs.1,000
Total: Rs. 45,114

+Cooler Master TX3 Hypo... during next summer.

My budget is Rs.45,000 ($738)
So I guess this PC fits my budget perfectly and by the time it's January the price should decrease a bit. My concern is whether the FX6300 will hold up for the coming years, I won't be upgrading this PC for 3-5 years. Anyway, do you guys think this PC can play games in Ultra? Or at least in high?

Thanks!

There is no such thing as "future proof". You can make it future resistant. This current build will give you good frame rates on ultra or high settings on a few games for the next couple of years. A few games you will have to reduce the eye candy. If you are talking 3 to 5 years, yeah you should still be able to play most games and get good frame rates again. Again, with some games you will have to reduce the eye candy. If you can afford it, for a few bucks more get an i5 and and a Z97 mother board. That will be more future resistant. If your stuck on AMD, go for an FX 8350.

No, that's way over my limit. And I could go with the FX8320 if I degrade my GPU to a GTX660.

I could go with the FX8320(not the FX8350) but that will result in decreasing my GPU to a GTX660. And most of my friends suggested me to focus on the GPU more, and that's what I just did. A Z97 MoBo itself will break my tight budget so, not going with an i5/Z97 MoBo no matter what, unless I win a lottery or something.

I agree with your friends, focus on that GPU. As tight as your budget is, stick with your plan. If at the time you can afford the 8320 and get the GPU you want, pull the trigger.
