Every time I turn the set on with either the Sharp or Comcast remote control there is no picture/audio. The HDMI Port selection has to be changed (to any port) and then returned to the original selection with the Sharp Remote Control. Then the picture/audio comes on.

The order that you turn on the TV and source can affect whether the TV and source can 'handshake' or detect each other. Try the source on or off before you turn on the TV. Also try connecting the main source to the input that the TV defaults to when you turn it on.
