So first off let me say I have already tried everything with the NO POST sticky made. Boot with only CPU/CPU fan, 1stick of ram/alternate dimms, tested outside of NZXT 410 Phantom case to see if it was shorting. When I connect everything (ontop of the motherboard box) it seems to try to boot then two little lights flash and then it reboots every few seconds. Fan for CPU spins and then after 2sec the cycle begins again. I have rev 1.x thats what the mobo says. Idk if its because the bios has not been flashed yet or what seems to be the problem. I returned the mobo to amazon as its on it's way but I wanted to know if I should purchase this mobo again and try to see if it was a bad mobo that lacked proper bios update for Devils Canyon or if it was something else. My specs are as followed:

CPU: i7 4790k
PSU: Corsair 750w CX Modular

RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 Desktop Memory Model CMY16GX3M2A1866C9R (Red)

CASE: NZXT 410 Phantom Mid Tower Case

WIFI Card: TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 Dual Band Wireless N900 PCI Express Adapter,2.4GHz 450Mbps/5Ghz 450Mbps

Also to add I wanted this mobo to work with hackintosh as I needed this PC build primaraly for Hackintosh compatibility.

I'm sorry for the nooby question but is there a way to update the mobo with the i7 4790k or does it have to be with a Haswell cpu only? For example an i7 4770k? I just want to double check as I have read all over this forum that you have to do it via a previous supported cpu then depending on your mobo you update it to the dedicate bios in my case, mine would be F8. P.S. Thanks for the speedy reply this forum has resolved most issues I have had previously based on the stickys =)

So I returned the mobo and got a Gigabyte z97 gaming 3 board as it was a bit cheaper. I was able to set everything right and it posted, however at this point a new problem has happen. I am trying to install windows 7 via usb I have formated to fat 32 and NFTS and since my mobo does not support NFTS as usb format for boot for whatever reason I have done fat 32. I get to load the windows loading files and it says windows loading files then to the windows 7 64bit home premium startup screen and then a quick flash to this

I honestly have had it with this damn computer and would really appreciate any help regarding how to properly fix this error. I have used all of the items listed above in my first post the only thing I have changed is the mobo. I have run memtest and no errors have come up and I have tried installing with one drive only plugged in, one 8gb ram stick and removed the pci wifi card, still no luck. I keep getting this error I am going to purchase windows 7 home premium license key etc but I don't have a dvd drive, I can go buy one at best buy but the problem is that they don't have a license key available at the time at my local best buy. Ugh any and all help is appreciated. Also I have two drives showing for my usb when booting. One says UEFI Silicon 32gb and the other says Silicon 32gb its a 3.0 usb drive Thank you for your time and up until now using this website has helped me fixed most errors =) I'm a newbie at this lol

No I downloaded the legitimate iso online so that I could do the 30 day trial in the meantime while I purchased the os but that would take between 5-7 business days.
http://www.w7forums.com/threads/official-windows-7-sp1-iso-image-downloads.12325/page-2#post-124821 I downloaded the Windows 7 Home Premium x64 English x17-58997 and used the windows download tool. would this problem be avoided if I used a disked image. I was using the windows download tool in order to get the iso to burn onto the usb to make a windows 7 bootable drive since I don't have a dvd drive.

Download the iso and use a program called rufus .... follow its instructions and it will make your bootable USB drive within a couple of minutes :D
