Hi i am new to these forums so forgive me if there is any error in my forum etiquette.

I went out of town for a little bit and i had bought some parts for my comp and my friend offered to set it up while i was gone so i let him since he set up his own.

My problems that i am having with my mobo (MSI 990FXA-GD80v2) and my case antec gx500 is that he said i need a specific connector to connect the fans to the motherboard as he said i didnt have enough. I have 5 fans total. 3 that came with case and 2 that i had bought from before hand. I also have cm hyper212evo that is set up and working fine along with the case fans but the 2 other fans he says have no where to plug in.

Basically i dont know what parts i need to connect those other 2 fans which would be pulling air in the front into the case with the 3 exhaust fans pulling out on top and out back. If anyone can help me out with this with what i may need i would be most appreciative.

Also my other question is i have an old processor an AMD phenom 2x2 550 black edition and i was looking to upgrade without seriously breaking the bank and also i am running a nvidia 550gtx ti and was also looking to upgrade that without breaking the bank. I plan on getting these at separate times but i really dont want to spend more than 200 if at all possible or 250 if its a really good deal. So please again forgive me for any forum offenses and all help would be appreciated.

I haven't built a pc in a long time but I believe the cable you are looking for is a "molex to 3 pin" which goes directly from your fan to your power supply (not motherboard). Like I said I haven't built a pc in a long time so I don't exactly remember. But I hope it helps out a little.

Hi thanks for posting I was wondering if you could post a link to this connector. I'm still a bit confused either he is explaining it weirdly or I am just not understanding him.

So basiclly he has more fans then place to plug the fans in. So he is trying to figure out where he can plug these fans in.
