HyperX FURY Series 8GB DDR3 1866MHz CL10 DIMM Memory Module - Blue
Intel HD 4600
WD 1TB Blue SATA 6GB/s 7200RPM 64MB 3.5" Hard Drive & 128GB Ultra Plus SATA 6Gb/s 2.5" 7mm Solid State Drive

I setup it up everything last nigt (without Windows Installation) and I checked the temperature from MSI Bios Menu and it shows between 44-47.

Is there any idea, why its too high?

Thanks :)

If I'm wrong with my assumption, please correct me, but I see that you do not have aftermarket cooling. First of all, I'm not sure if they use the integrated heat spreader on the i5 that they use on the i7 but the thermal paste is cheap and cruddy. Your best bet would be to: A. open the CPU Lid and wipe it down and replace the paste with better quality, and B. Invest in aftermarket air cooling such as the Noctua NHD-14 or aftermarket water cooling such as the Corsair H105/110.

Also, while you're case isn't super small, it isn't very big. How many case fans do you have? The more fans you have (provided they are set up correctly) the more hot air will leave and the more cool air that is brought in, thus less heat stuck in the case means lower temperatures for components. I had an NZXT Source 210 Elite Mid-tower and my CPU temps were around 39 idle. Now that I have a HAF X Full Tower (149.99), I would see about 33-35 idle and around 50 at full load (around 42 gaming load). However since my FX-6300 is OC'd to 4.4ghz, i see about 41c at idle and 65c at full load (gaming is about 50-60%) and I have a 35 dollar CPU air cooler (CM Hyper 212 Evo)

So I imagine that if your ambient temperature is relatively low, you could get away with the Hyper 212 Evo. If it is high, you may need water cooling. If you plan to overclock, water cooling. If you haven't filled all your case fan areas, do that ASAP (unless you plan to watercool, then you MAY be able to move a fan somewhere else so that you have room for the water cooler's radiator.

Also, try using different software such as Core Temp, Real Temp, HW Monitor, etc. to check the temps. If all else fails, go into the BIOS and check the temps.

The standard 4670k does not have the better TIM across the IHS like the Devil's Canyon 4690k, so you will see some awkwardly high temps with that chip. You have to get a aftermarket cooler for the 4670k, the standard one is bad news. @4.7ghz with 1.290Vcore my 4690k sits comfortably at 42-48C under a 70% load, full load 52-56C while benching. <These are excellent temps, but my cooling solution is spot on.

Hi,

Thanks for the response. So which cooler you are using?
