The R9 280X draws about 250W under full load. And if you overclock your CPU, then it will draw about a 100W or so.

So a the 550W will do fine.

Although it will be fine, I always like to god or more, so I would go with a 650W just to play safe. ;)

I thought so I'll just tell you my specs to be sure

i5 2400k
8gig ripjaw ram
2 2.5" hdd's
Blu ray drive
120mm fan and a 140mm fan

You think the corsair 550w one will be enough ?
