i3-2120 or i3-3220 ?

Hello! I want to know before buying any processoer that is there any difference between i3-2120 vs i3-3220. Does my games run faster on i3-3220?
I already have a gpu so I don't care about their HD-graphics and I am currently using G2020 processor.
Please don't tell me to buy i5 because I have no budget.

3220 will be a bit better due to the change in architecture.

The 3220 is a bit faster than the G2020, but not that much, the only real advantage of the i3 is hyper-threading, if you plan to use it for gaming, stay with the G2020 until you can get a i5.

Save till you can get an i5 or, if motherboard supports it, Xeon 1230v2.

My MotherBoard is GA-B75M-D3H. Final Question is that doesn't Hyper-Threading and 4 threads will make games run faster? Many sites have given benchmarks and they say these core-i3 are better in gaming than G2020.

Yes, they are better for gaming, just as a haswell i3 would be even better. If you feel the need to 'upgrade', I'd advise you to stay with your G2020 until you can afford an i5 3570k.

B75 boards generally do not overclock, so a K series chip is pointless. I would go with the 1230v2. It is generally priced close to the 3570k. You get 3770 performance for less, and then your system would be fine for another generation or two, if Intel keeps this lousy 5-10% per gen thing going.

Okay, wasn't sure with b75 boards as there are b85 boards that allow for oc'ing. The xeon would obviously better, but I'm not sure if you can get it for an as low price.

I dont overclock and also dont like overclocking. Even i5-2500 sandy bridge is far better than i3 and G2020 ivy-bridge processors. I will get that when I have enough budget. Next 4 months, I will use G2020 and then directly goes for that i5 processor.

Yea, the V2 actually has dropped a bit. The Haswell V3 is priced around the $249 mark +/- a couple dollars.
