Installed windows 8.1... weird boot

So after installing Windows 8.1 last night every time i restart my computer it will show the motherboard splash screen where you can hit del to enter BIOS settings, and it doesnt show a proper windows boot... is this a winows 8 problem?

You’re probably not seeing Windows 8.1 boot as expected because it boots much faster than say Windows 7 or Windows XP ever did. In fact, with an SSD installed, Windows 8 can be fully booted in less than seven seconds.

The Spinning/loading circle at the bottom will appear for windows while still on the MB screen and after a bit it will just bring me to my login screen.
